ERP Implementation/Project Management

• Orchestrated the “internal” software development of one of the “first ever, enterprise-wide finance accounting systems to account for the new ASC606 Accounting standard (Revenue Recognition). Successfully implemented this ERP system that accounts for 30% or $1B of the company’s revenue while eliminating contract review FTE’s by70%.

• Took over an Oracle implementation that was over budget and running a year behind by creating a new project plan and implementing a new “Agile/scrum” methodology and re-engineered the change management program that improved project predictability, reduced risks and increased flexibility which reduced the project budget by 30% and got the project timeline on track in less than three months.


Business Event Transactions IPO/Rev. Merger/M&A ($7.5B in Transaction value)

• Orchestrated the IPO S-1 filing as well as the creation of the S-1 and subsequent 10Q and 10K documents for an Exploration and Production Company in less than six months.

• Led the successful filing of the S-4 (reverse merger) for a long-term Care client valued at $168 million dollars with a team of 25 consultants, employees and internal/external auditors that included the completion of two years audited financials, creation of the F-pages and MD&A.

• Led a team of 50 employees and consultants on the Merger and post-acquisition integration in the amount of $2.4 billion; this included all due diligence, valuation, purchase price allocation, staff augmentation and system integration.


Process Improvement/Project Management

• Re-engineered closing time by twenty-five days by implementing a closing calendar, establishing metrics using GAAP, SEC, 10Q/10K, tax checklists and created automated reports.

• Re-engineered the consolidated financials from subsidiary companies via a roll up from SAP; created procedures to tie out the consolidated financials, correctly account for eliminations saving 30% in FTE overhead a month.

• Performed a “forensic audit” on the joint interest billing statement for an oil and gas small non-operator and foundthat the operator had overcharged their working interest by over $350K


CFO Advisory/Project Management

• Orchestrated company-wide effort to cut costs and maximize the drilling expertise in the field to increase production and 3P reserves to increase profits which increased the asset value 25% for a $100M Oil and gas company.

• Re-engineered the consolidated financials from subsidiary companies via a roll up from SAP; created procedures to tie out the consolidated financials, correctly account for eliminations saving 30% in FTE overhead a month.

• Led audit review effort to verify prior year tax returns for accuracy and found tax depreciation errors as well as fixed asset misclassifications which resulted in a $1.5MM favorable adjustment for the client.

• Orchestrated the first ever 5-year strategic plan and detailed capital drilling

program which helped streamline oil and gas production in the “Bakkan shale” which increased revenues by $100million in one year.

• Re-engineered operations, accounting, finance and marketing for a $2 Billion Mid-Stream Company by implementing a transformation project that reduced the closing cycle from 20+ days to 10 and led to increase deficiencies in A/P, A/R, and G/L and a monthly savings of over $500K per month.
