How this is scored
- Each answer is worth points: Yes = 2, Somewhat = 1, Not really = 0. Seven questions, 14 points possible.
- The seven questions map to the four stages of the Clarity Code. Discover, Diagnose, and Deploy carry two questions each (4 points). Drive carries one (2 points).
- A stage is Solid at full points, Shaky at partial, and Exposed at zero or near zero.
- Your recommended next step is set by the first stage that is not Solid, working in order: Discover, then Diagnose, then Deploy, then Drive. The stages build on each other, so the earliest gap is the one worth fixing first.
- The total score describes the overall picture. It does not override the gate. A high total with a weak Discover still starts at Discover.
This is a self-assessment, not a diagnostic. It reflects how confident you are in your own numbers, which is useful on its own, and it is not a substitute for someone looking at the actual financials.
